Allegany County DSS Office hours:

• Mondays through Fridays 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Must be 18 years or older with a minor child.

Provides emergency cash assistance to eligible residents to assist with court-ordered evictions, foreclosures, water bills and utility cut-offs.

Help with burial assistance up to $650 may be available at times for individuals who are receiving assistance or Social Security Insurance.
